Sophie Mair

Hailing from a fine art painting background, Sophie’s first foray into filmmaking was through art directing and costume assisting but soon progressed to producing. With over six years experience utilising a range of budgets in both private and public funding. Sophie has sought to creatively achieve the best possible production for each project. With over 100 film festival screenings worldwide, a number of awards and broadcast screenings under her belt. Sophie is currently producing the development of a feature screenplay with Screen International Star of Tomorrow Director Dan Gitsham and Creative England.

Sophie would like to gain invaluable experience on moving from shorts to features, meet creative individuals and gain new contacts, learn from industry professionals as well as impart her knowledge having also worked a a festival coordinator for over two years.
